Super Micro posts record backlog and raises fiscal 2027 forecast

In fiscal 2026, Super Micro revenue rose 78% year over year to $39.1 billion, with Q4 revenue up 93% year over year to $11.1 billion.

Super Micro Computer delivered a strong fourth quarter and ended fiscal 2026 with a record backlog, supported by continued demand for its AI and IT infrastructure solutions, according to Yahoo Finance.

The company received more than $60 billion in new orders during Q4 and guided to better-than-expected revenue for fiscal 2027 first quarter, with management citing ongoing demand for AI solutions and growth in its enterprise customer base.

Financial results showed momentum across the year: Super Micro generated $39.1 billion in fiscal 2026 revenue, up 78% year over year, while Q4 revenue rose 93% year over year and 9% sequentially to $11.1 billion.

A key shift noted in the report was that enterprise and channel revenue reached $5.6 billion in Q4, or 50% of total revenue, compared with 28% in the prior quarter, while the OEM appliance and large data center revenue totaled $5.5 billion. The article also said Wall Street analysts remain less bullish on the stock than traders, with shares up about 20% on the day of the update.
