Sandisk extends rally after upbeat Investor Day outlook for AI storage

The stock has climbed more than 34% from Thursday’s low following the event, with technical levels near $1,838.5 cited as the next upside hurdle.

SanDisk continued its advance after an Investor Day that impressed investors, with buyers maintaining control as the shares pushed higher, according to Forexlive. The outlet noted the stock is up more than 9% on the day and has risen about 34% from Thursday’s low. Forexlive said the company used the event to emphasize longer-term growth tied to AI and to outline an aggressive financial framework for fiscal years 2028 through 2030. On the demand side, SanDisk expects AI inference to boost demand for flash storage in data centers, and it projects the enterprise data-center flash market could reach 1.2 zettabytes by 2030. The company also highlighted a product roadmap focused on higher-density NAND and High Bandwidth Flash technology, while shifting toward longer-term customer agreements to improve revenue visibility and reduce NAND volatility. Forexlive said these agreements already cover about 50% of expected FY2027 bits and roughly two-thirds of FY2028 bits. On the market side, Forexlive pointed to SanDisk regaining key moving-average levels after moving back above its 100-day moving average at $1,409.30 and its 200-hour moving average at $1,457.80. The outlet also cited Thursday’s surge of 13.67% and Friday’s 7.39% gain, noting that a break above $1,838.46, tied to a retracement level, would be the next technical step.
