Tori Dunlap's Her First $100K reaches Inc. 5000 spot after $100K goal

The personal-finance business, which began as a blog, hit the $100,000 savings milestone in 2019 and later scaled to rank 3,046 on this year's Inc. 5000 list.

Money educator Tori Dunlap grew her company, Her First $100K, from a personal goal into a fast-growing business recognized by Inc. 5000, according to a Yahoo Finance profile.

Dunlap launched Her First $100K after setting a financial target to save $100,000 by the time she turned 25. She reached the milestone in 2019, at 25 years and three months old, and then expanded the side hustle from a blog and online community into a larger organization focused on helping women build savings, pay down debt, invest, and negotiate salaries.

The company later scaled into what Dunlap described as a broader mission of financial education tied to independence. Yahoo Finance reports that, to date, Dunlap has helped more than five million women “make more, spend less, and feel financially confident,” as stated on Her First $100K’s site.

By 2026, Her First $100K was named among Inc. 5000’s fastest-growing companies in America, claiming the 3,046th spot on this year’s list, which Yahoo Finance notes involved cumulative revenue of $385 billion for the companies included.
