BOIL posts record 2Q26 revenue as U.S. direct-sales expansion scales
Second-quarter revenue rose 28.0% year over year to $1.4 million, while gross margin fell to 42.2% from 53.1% in the prior quarter as rollout and channel-transition costs increased.
Yahoo Finance reports that BOIL logged record revenue of $1.4 million in 2Q26, up 28.0% year over year from $1.1 million and up 11.0% sequentially from $1.3 million in 1Q26.
The update said 1H26 revenue increased 26.0% to $2.65 million, and it represented about 59% of full-year 2025 revenue of $4.5 million. It also cited growth in annualized revenue run-rate to about $5.6 million from roughly $5.0 million entering 2Q26.
The report attributed the revenue momentum to the scaling phase of BOIL’s U.S. direct-sales expansion, pointing to 100+ validated locations and a broader commercial funnel supported by supermarket, fast-food, casual-dining and Sysco programs.
It also noted profitability pressure, with gross margin declining to 42.2% from 53.1% in 1Q26, reflecting rollout, inventory and channel-transition costs, along with early U.S. customer servicing costs and new-market expansion. The article said total operating expenses increased 27.0% year over year to $3.01 million.
