GF Securities starts Monolithic Power with a $1,706 Buy price target

Monolithic Power reported record $981 million revenue last quarter, up 48% year over year, and raised its enterprise data growth outlook for the year.

GF Securities initiated coverage of Monolithic Power Systems (MPWR) with a Buy rating and a $1,706 price target, pointing to the company’s role in powering newer generations of AI chips. The rationale, according to Yahoo Finance, is that each step up in AI computing power increases electricity needs, making clean and precise power delivery near the chip more valuable.

The article says the demand trend is showing up in Monolithic’s recent results. The company reported record revenue of $981 million last quarter, up 48% from the prior year, and highlighted that its enterprise data business tied to AI and data center chips rose 45% sequentially.

Yahoo Finance also notes that management raised its full-year growth target for the enterprise data segment from 85% to 130% after the stronger-than-expected performance. The company is also broadening beyond AI, winning new business in areas including automotive and communications equipment, while pushing into robotics.

Analyst positioning appears broadly positive as well. The article states that most Wall Street analysts rate Monolithic a Buy, and even the lowest price target cited at $1,575 sits above the stock’s current trading level, based on the story’s comparison.
