Moderna and Merck cancer vaccine combo extends time without melanoma return

CNBC Markets reports that Moderna and Merck’s cancer vaccine combination showed promise in a late-stage trial, with the companies saying the regimen significantly extended the time patients lived without their melanoma returning compared with Merck’s Keytruda alone.
The outlet added that the news sent Moderna’s stock up about 50% on the reaction to the trial results.
