Schonfeld Strategic Advisors hires Lorenzo Longo for Delta One
The appointment adds to Schonfeld’s Delta One trading operation, which uses instruments like ETFs, futures, forwards, and swaps to track underlying assets.
Schonfeld Strategic Advisors is adding Lorenzo Longo to its team as a portfolio manager, according to a Bloomberg report cited by Hedgeweek. The move brings an experienced Delta One trader into the multi-strategy hedge fund firm as it continues to expand its investment staff.
Longo is joining Schonfeld’s Delta One trading operation after more than two years at Kedalion Capital Management. Before that, he spent more than a decade at Goldman Sachs, with experience across institutional trading.
According to the report, Longo will report to Riccardo Riboldi, Schonfeld’s global head of emerging markets and Delta One. Riboldi joined the firm in 2023 after a career at Goldman Sachs.
Delta One trading focuses on products intended to closely replicate the performance of underlying assets, using instruments that can include exchange-traded funds, futures, forwards, and swaps. Schonfeld declined to comment on the appointment, while Kedalion and Longo did not respond to requests for comment.
