Venture Global posts record EBITDA, raises 2026 guidance
Second quarter adjusted EBITDA rose 79% year over year to $2.5 billion, and the company lifted its quarterly dividend 122% to $0.04 per share.
Venture Global reported Q2 2026 results on August 11, posting its largest quarterly EBITDA ever as it raised full-year guidance for the second time in 2026. The LNG producer said consolidated adjusted EBITDA totaled $2.5 billion for the quarter, up 79% from $1.4 billion in the same period a year earlier. Revenue climbed 48% year over year to $4.6 billion, with $1.3 billion of the increase attributed to higher sales volumes and the remainder to better pricing, according to Yahoo Finance.
The company also reported shipping 466 TBtu of LNG during the quarter, up from 329 TBtu a year earlier. Net income attributable to common stockholders rose to $1.3 billion, up 266% from $368 million, and management raised 2026 EBITDA guidance to a range of $8.7 billion to $9.1 billion from $8.2 billion to $8.5 billion previously.
Venture Global said it exported its 1,000th cargo, four years after its first shipment in March 2022, while keeping 91% of its 2026 volumes contracted, up from 84% earlier in the year. The company also refinanced $5.3 billion of debt and preferred equity during the quarter, a step it said will cut annual interest and coupon costs by more than $100 million.
The board increased the quarterly dividend 122% to $0.04 per share. Still, the company kept its EBITDA guidance range wider than usual, citing LNG price volatility tied to events in the Middle East, and said it plans to narrow the range after the third quarter.
Venture Global noted its current guidance assumes a liquefaction fee of $12.5 to $13.5 per MMBtu for uncontracted 2026 cargoes, and that each $1 swing in the fee moves EBITDA by about $180 million to $210 million.
