Corporación América Airports reports adjusted EBITDA down 4.5% in Q2 2026
The company said Argentina domestic traffic fell 12% after Flybondi reduced its operating fleet and fuel costs rose, while revenue per passenger grew 9% to $22.9.
Corporación América Airports S.A. reported adjusted EBITDA declined 4.5% in Q2 2026, attributing the drop to a tougher year-over-year comparison in Argentina’s cargo business, where 2025 labor disruptions had inflated storage revenues.
The company said Argentina domestic traffic fell 12% due to Flybondi’s reduction in its operating fleet and higher fuel costs, adding that international demand remained robust. Armenia, it said, delivered 13% traffic growth despite regional aerospace restrictions linked to Middle East conflicts.
Corporación América Airports also reported revenue per passenger rose 9% to $22.90, driven by commercial initiatives including VIP lounges, duty-free sales, and space rentals that outpaced passenger volume growth.
On financial position and outlook, the company said it maintained a net leverage ratio of 0.5x, giving it flexibility to initiate a $150 million dividend while pursuing new concessions. It added that a new Instrument Landing System in Uruguay began generating revenue in August 2026, expected to support margin recovery in the second half of the year.
