Kimberly-Clark boosts dividend for 54th straight year
The company increased its quarterly payout to $1.28 per share in January 2026, taking annual dividends to $5.12, with an indicated yield of about 4.6% near $110.
Kimberly-Clark increased its quarterly dividend from $1.26 to $1.28 per share in January 2026, extending its streak of dividend increases to 54 consecutive years, according to Yahoo Finance.
The consumer staples company has paid dividends for 92 years, and its annual payout now totals $5.12 per share. With the stock trading near $110, Yahoo Finance estimates the dividend yield at about 4.6%.
The article says Kimberly-Clark’s brands, including Huggies, Kleenex, Scott, Kotex, Cottonelle, Poise and Depend, hold No. 1 or No. 2 positions in roughly 70 countries. It also argues that products such as diapers, tissues, toilet paper and personal care can remain in demand even when consumers cut back on discretionary spending.
Yahoo Finance points to cash generation in the first half of 2026, reporting cash from operations of $1.7 billion, up from $1.1 billion a year earlier, and capital spending rising to $776 million from $401 million. It also notes the dividend’s five-year annualized growth rate is around 3%, meaning faster increases are not expected.
