Prediction markets put Anthropic in the mix for 2026’s biggest IPO
Polymarket data show Anthropic closing the gap with SpaceX, with Bloomberg saying its 2026 annualized revenue could top $65 billion.
Prediction markets are already wagering that Anthropic, though not yet public, could rival Elon Musk’s SpaceX for the largest US IPO of 2026. Polymarket odds show Anthropic quickly narrowing the distance with SpaceX as revenue growth accelerates, with a potential debut in the fourth quarter.
Yahoo Finance cited Bloomberg reporting that Anthropic’s annualized revenue for 2026 is on track to exceed $65 billion, up from a $47 billion pace reported in May. The same Polymarket snapshot does not list OpenAI as a contender for the top IPO spot this year.
SpaceX’s path to the public markets has already set a high bar. The stock priced through its IPO at $1.78 trillion in valuation, opened on the Nasdaq on June 12 around $150 per share, and rose to $160.95 on its first day, a gain of 19.2% from the offering price.
SpaceX later traded up to around $225 before falling to about $104 as investors weighed lockup expirations and capital expenditure plans. It has since recovered to about $146 a share, giving it a market value of $1.93 trillion, while Yahoo Finance data show Anthropic valued at about $1 trillion and OpenAI at about $894 billion in private markets.
