U.S. Bank Business Altitude Connect review highlights 5x travel rewards

The card offers 75,000 welcome bonus points after $6,000 spend in the first 180 days, with a $95 annual fee starting in year two.

A review from Yahoo Finance takes a close look at the U.S. Bank Business Altitude Connect Visa Signature Card, highlighting an emphasis on travel rewards alongside perks like no foreign transaction fees and travel protections.

According to the review, the card earns rewards at 5x points on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked through the U.S. Bank Travel Center, and 4x points on additional eligible travel expenses that include airfare, hotel bookings, car rentals, and passenger trains. After reaching a $150,000 annual cap on travel purchases, rewards drop to 1x points.

The review also describes an unlimited 2x points per dollar on dining and with cell phone service providers, while every other purchase earns 1x points. It notes the annual fee is $0 for the first year and then increases to $95 annually.

Yahoo Finance further says new cardmembers can earn a welcome bonus by spending at least $6,000 within the first 180 days, qualifying for 75,000 bonus points, which the review says can be worth up to $750 in rewards depending on redemption.
