Crossroads Capital letter says FTAI fits an asset light aviation shift
The fund reported a double digit 11.5% net of fees return in Q2 2026 and cited exposure metrics as it highlighted FTAI Aviation.
Crossroads Capital LLC, an investment management firm, published its second quarter 2026 investor letter in which it highlighted FTAI Aviation Ltd. The fund said it increased by 11.5% net of fees and expenses during the quarter, and that since its founding it has compounded at a net rate of 17.9%.
According to the letter, by the end of June 2026 the fund’s overall non delta adjusted gross and net exposures were 115.0% and 86.9%, respectively. In the same period, Crossroads Capital pointed to a broader rebound, saying the S&P 500 gained 14.9% in Q2, its best performance since 2020.
The investor letter also tied its view of FTAI to the company’s role in the engine aftermarket. It described FTAI as a leading independent MRO franchise for the CFM56 engine and said the business model focuses on rebuilding engines and producing “green time” using proprietary PMA parts, with module swaps intended to reduce downtime in a supply constrained aftermarket.
The materials additionally included FTAI performance and market context from Aug. 19, 2026. FTAI closed at $210.91 per share, for a market capitalization of $21.66 billion, with a one month return of -6.95% and a 52 week gain of 38.10%.
