In fiscal Q3 ended in April, Nutanix reported revenue of $703.1 million, up 10% year over year, with bookings up 20% on total contract value.
Nutanix is positioning itself for growth tied to agentic AI, citing its existing enterprise customer base, product launches, and a strategic partnership with AMD. The company’s approach centers on its software platform and its cloud operating model designed to support both AI and agentic AI use cases, according to Yahoo Finance.
Nutanix said it launched the Nutanix Agentic AI solution in March. The report also notes that in its fiscal third quarter ended in April, revenue rose 10% year over year to $703.1 million, while annual recurring revenue increased 15% year over year to $2.43 billion.
The company reported operating income, excluding certain items, improved by $19.4 million to $156.5 million, and bookings climbed 20% year over year based on total contract value. Shares trade at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 69.8, and the report puts the company’s market capitalization at $17.7 billion.
Yahoo Finance adds that Nutanix and AMD announced a strategic partnership earlier this year to develop an agentic AI platform. AMD agreed to spend as much as $100 million on Nutanix stock, and the article highlights a possible acquisition scenario involving AMD or another large technology player.
