Amer Sports lifts 2026 outlook after 32% revenue growth
In the quarter, direct-to-consumer revenue rose nearly 45% and adjusted gross margin expanded 200 basis points to 60%.
Amer Sports, Inc. entered its second-quarter reporting period after delivering a strong first quarter, with revenue up 32% to $1.945 billion, driven by growth across its Technical Apparel and Outdoor Performance segments.
The company said Technical Apparel revenue rose 33%, while Outdoor Performance climbed 42%, and management responded by raising its 2026 revenue-growth outlook to 20% to 22% and adjusting EPS guidance to $1.18 to $1.23, above the current consensus expectations cited for the quarter.
Yahoo Finance noted that direct-to-consumer revenue grew nearly 45% to about half of total sales, helping lift adjusted gross margin by 200 basis points to 60% and adjusted operating margin by 160 basis points to 17.4%.
Management also highlighted a broad geographic contribution, including revenue growth of 44.5% in Greater China and 26.6% in Europe, plus premium-brand expansion through both owned retail and digital channels, with Arc'teryx and Salomon seeing owned store counts rise alongside direct-to-consumer growth.
