Medtronic posts standout revenue growth while Thermo Fisher’s recovery broadens

Medtronic and Thermo Fisher are being positioned as two different kinds of healthcare turnaround stories, with Medtronic focused on internal execution and product momentum and Thermo Fisher hinging more on improving life sciences customer spending, Yahoo Finance said.
Medtronic reported its highest annual revenue growth in a decade, and the company highlighted strength in its cardiac business. Its Cardiac Ablation Solutions revenue rose 78% globally, including 124% growth in the U.S., as newer product launches began contributing to growth.
The article also said Medtronic is investing heavily in innovation and in areas such as ICE catheter technology, alongside additional M&A activity.
