Abercrombie & Fitch shares rise after earnings beat and guidance lift
Yahoo Finance said the S&P 500 is on pace for 50% year over year second-quarter earnings growth, with AI cited as a key driver.
Abercrombie & Fitch shares jumped after the company posted an earnings beat and raised its guidance, according to Yahoo Finance live earnings updates.
The update also framed the move within a late stage second-quarter earnings calendar that has been broadly strong, noting FactSet data showing S&P 500 earnings growth on pace to rise 50% year over year, the highest growth rate since 2021.
Yahoo Finance attributed much of the broad-based earnings strength to artificial intelligence as the growth engine, while also pointing investors to other major reports being watched around the same time.
Beyond Abercrombie & Fitch, the update highlighted market attention on Nvidia results, and other companies with scheduled updates including Dollar Tree and Dollar General, software firms such as Salesforce, Intuit, and Zoom, and retailers including Dick's Sporting Goods and Kohl's.
