Nvidia is set to report June-quarter results after a stock selloff
Wall Street expects adjusted EPS of $2.09 on $92 billion in revenue, with data center sales forecast to rise sharply year over year.
Nvidia is scheduled to report financial results for the June-ending quarter on 26 August after market close, as its shares have faced pressure on Wall Street, according to LiveMint Markets.
Ahead of the release, analyst consensus estimates call for adjusted earnings per share of $2.09 and revenue of $92 billion, which would imply a 96.0 percent year-on-year jump in overall revenue, LiveMint Markets reports.
Investors will focus on whether Nvidia can provide clearer support for AI valuations, after strong results from peers during the June quarter and Nvidia's history of generally beating expectations. Expectations also center on the company's data center growth and the outlook for its newer platforms, Blackwell and Rubin, which are aimed at reducing energy use and customer costs.
LiveMint Markets adds that data center revenue is anticipated to exceed $85.4 billion, up 107.0 percent year over year, with hyperscaler sales expected at $43.5 billion and ACIE sales projected at $41.7 billion. The preview also notes that large customers such as Amazon, Google, and Microsoft are increasingly developing their own chips, a potential long-term headwind for Nvidia.
