Wall Street scrutinizes Nvidia’s $70% revenue growth forecast

Nvidia expects revenue to rise more than 70% in the fiscal year ending January 2028, and some investors are probing whether SpaceX’s reported shift to Nvidia data-center chips is driving the outlook.

Nvidia’s forecast for the fiscal year ending January 2028 has drawn heightened attention on Wall Street, with investors questioning what is behind its expected revenue surge, according to MarketWatch.

Nvidia expects revenue growth of more than 70% for that period, a level that one analyst described as “shockingly bullish.”

MarketWatch reports that the debate includes whether SpaceX’s plan to rely on Nvidia data-center chips could be a major factor, after SpaceX said it would only use Nvidia’s data-center chips.

Mizuho analyst Daniel O’Regan said in a client note that a key question is whether Nvidia’s upbeat projections are simply tied to SpaceX’s chip plan, or instead reflect broader demand from other high-profile customers needing processing power.
