Warsh delivers hawkish tone at Jackson Hole, citing slow inflation progress

Fed Chair Kevin Warsh delivered remarks at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Jackson Hole Economic Symposium, with his speech titled In Our Time, according to Action Forex.

Warsh said the economy remains resilient and the labor market is near full employment, but he argued that progress on inflation has not been sufficient.

Action Forex notes the speech reinforced themes Warsh has previously cited, emphasizing the need for continued focus on inflation even as employment remains tight.
