China private manufacturing PMI rises above 51 in August
The RatingDog China General Manufacturing PMI climbed for a ninth straight reading above 50, with new orders increasing for 15 straight months.
Action Forex reports that China’s private manufacturing sector improved in August, with RatingDog China General Manufacturing PMI rising from 50.9 to 51.5.
The reading marked a two month high, a ninth consecutive month above 50, and the longest streak of expansionary readings since 2018, according to the report.
New orders increased for a 15th straight month, and growth accelerated above its long run average. New export orders also rose, adding to signs of improving activity in the private manufacturing sector.
