Dell seen as AI infrastructure demand beneficiary ahead of earnings
Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh said Nvidia’s planned $500 billion AI financing platform could still translate into meaningful demand for Dell, even at a fraction of the total.
Dell Technologies is set to report July-quarter earnings after the market closes on Tuesday, with MarketWatch citing analyst expectations for sharp growth heading into the results.
MarketWatch reports that high-profile artificial intelligence deals could further support sentiment around Dell, pointing in particular to Nvidia’s announcement of a $500 billion financing platform backed by third-party capital for frontier AI labs and other major players.
According to a recent client note cited by MarketWatch, Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh said the initiative could drive meaningful demand for AI infrastructure, adding that the impact does not need to match the full scale of Nvidia’s figure to benefit Dell’s business.
The MarketWatch piece frames these developments as potential tailwinds extending into next year’s financial outlook for Dell.
