Long-dated bond yields keep stocks mixed as oil hovers near $95

The yield backdrop weighed on some parts of the market early in the session. Energy (XLE) and Utilities (XLU) slipped, while Financial Services (XLF), Healthcare (XLV), and Communication Services (XLC) advanced.
Tech stocks were little changed overall, despite a jump in Dell Technologies. Yahoo Finance reported Dell surged 10% after a standout quarter driven by record orders in its AI server business.
Other notable equities drawing attention from Yahoo Finance readers included Hewlett Packard Enterprise, NIO, GitLab, and AST SpaceMobile.
