Poland’s reclassification as developed market broadens investor access
MarketWatch says Poland’s move from emerging market status to developed economy status is set to expand the pool of investors able to access the country’s stock market.
The change effectively opens Poland to more investment vehicles and allocators that track developed market benchmarks rather than emerging market screens, according to the outlet.
