Capital One boosts Venture welcome offer with $300 travel credit
The promotion starts Sept. 8 and includes a $300 Capital One Stays Travel credit plus a requirement to spend $4,000 in three months to earn the 75,000-mile welcome bonus.
Yahoo Finance says Capital One is offering a boosted two-part welcome bonus on its Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card for a limited time, with the offer beginning Sept. 8, 2026.
The first part provides a $300 Capital One Stays Travel credit that cardholders can apply toward eligible hotel and vacation rental bookings made through Capital One Travel, and any amount paid toward a stay above the $300 credit earns 5x bonus miles.
The second part targets additional value for new cardholders, with the Venture welcome bonus of 75,000 miles available after spending $4,000 within the first three months, according to the publication.
Yahoo Finance also notes that miles can be redeemed through Capital One Travel or potentially enhanced by transferring them to Capital One travel partners, and it cites 15-plus airline and hotel partners including JetBlue TrueBlue, Emirates Skywards, Air Canada Aeroplan, and Wyndham Rewards.
