Life Time posts an earnings beat and raises guidance for a third quarter

Life Time said full-year comparable-center revenue growth is now expected at 7.9% to 8.3%, while insider selling continued alongside the stock rally.

Life Time Group Holdings delivered another earnings beat and raised guidance for the third straight quarter, even as insiders sold shares aggressively, according to MarketBeat Ratings. The upscale athletic club operator is betting on affluent, health-conscious consumers spending on resort-style clubs, and it now runs more than 190 locations across the U.S. and Canada.

For the second quarter, Life Time reported revenue of $866.0 million, up 13.7% year over year and above the $845.75 million Wall Street expected figure. Net income increased 40.6% to about $101 million, and adjusted EBITDA rose to $246.5 million, lifting the adjusted EBITDA margin to 28.5% from 27.7% a year earlier.

The company also reported adjusted diluted earnings per share of 48 cents, versus the 37-cent consensus estimate. Comparable-center revenue rose 9.1% for the recent three months, the same-store metric management emphasizes.

Life Time raised its outlook again, now forecasting full-year comparable-center revenue growth of 7.9% to 8.3%, up from a prior range of 6.9% to 7.5%. The company said it remains on pace to open 14 clubs in 2026, with 10 of the 12 to 14 planned for 2027 already under construction, and its stock has climbed nearly 50% over the past 12 months and about 62% year to date, though MarketBeat Ratings noted 10 inside sales in the past 12 months with no insider purchases.
