Interparfums extends Cavalli fragrance license through 2046

The deal extends the exclusive worldwide fragrance license, and Interparfums said Roberto Cavalli sales grew 8% in the first half of 2026 versus 2% for consolidated sales.

Interparfums, Inc. (NASDAQ: IPAR) and Marquee Brands announced on September 17 that their exclusive worldwide fragrance license for Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli will extend through December 31, 2046, covering fragrance creation, development, and distribution. The companies said operations will continue through wholly owned Interparfums Italia Srl, giving Interparfums a longer runway to build on the opportunity.

Management described Cavalli as one of its fastest-growing portfolio brands, and said the Serpentine fragrance launched in 2025 exceeded expectations. The extension, which follows an operating relationship established in 2023, is expected to reduce renewal uncertainty for investments that can take years to pay off, enabling planning across multiple launch cycles.

The announcement also points to measurable sales momentum. According to the company, Roberto Cavalli sales grew 8% during the first half of 2026 compared with 2% growth in consolidated sales, and Interparfums said existing operations in Florence have helped drive gains in shelf space and consumer attention.

The companies did not disclose royalty terms or any minimum obligations in the extension notice, according to the report. With those terms not provided, the potential impact on future margins cannot be quantified, and a longer agreement could also imply commitments that limit flexibility if demand weakens.
