Invesco hires BlackRock ETF trading executive for Americas capital markets

Tim Clavin will start in September 2026, and Invesco says its largest five ETFs hold about $751 billion, per ETF Database.

Invesco has hired Tim Clavin, a BlackRock ETF trading executive, to lead its ETF capital markets team in the Americas, ETF Trends reports.

Clavin said on LinkedIn that he is starting a new position as Head of ETF Capital Markets, Americas at Invesco, with his profile listing a September 2026 start date. At BlackRock, he served as a vice president for about two years, leading ETF trading solutions for institutional and wealth clients and sitting on the U.S. ETF markets leadership team.

Prior to BlackRock, Clavin spent nearly 10 years at The Vanguard Group, with roles spanning foreign exchange and rates trading and work on index and ETF bond products, according to his LinkedIn profile. ETF capital markets teams coordinate with trading firms to help keep ETF shares trading smoothly near the value of fund holdings.

ETF Trends also notes the scale of Invesco’s ETF lineup, citing ETF Database data that the five largest Invesco ETFs hold about $751 billion, and that some of its largest funds trade millions of shares daily while others trade less but receive steady inflows from long term investors.
