Michael Barr says Fed policy may need further adjustments
Money markets have priced nearly a 66% chance of a Fed hike in October and 94% for December, according to Prime Terminal.
Federal Reserve Governor Michael Barr said on Tuesday that policymakers need to recalibrate Fed policy, with the base case that further policy adjustments are likely.
FXStreet notes that money markets have priced in a nearly 66% chance of a Fed rate hike at the October meeting, while odds for a rate increase in December are at 94%, citing Prime Terminal.
The report also showed the US dollar as the strongest versus the Australian dollar, based on percentage changes across major currencies.
