Stocks rise as hiring cools and Nasdaq hits a new intraday record
Wall Street moved higher as hiring showed signs of softening, supporting a rise in major US stocks, according to WSJ Markets.
The Nasdaq reached a new intraday record, while bond yields turned higher during the session, WSJ Markets said.
