Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is set to begin the Q2 earnings season with results for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 2026, and its shares climbed ahead of the release, LiveMint Markets reports.
According to LiveMint Markets, TCS stock rose as much as 3% on NSE before the announcement, opening at ₹2,104 per share compared with the previous close of ₹2,080.30 and later touching an intraday high of ₹2,141.50 on Oct. 8.
LiveMint Markets also cites Seema Srivastava, Senior Research Analyst at SMC Global Securities, saying TCS is likely to deliver stable Q2FY27 results supported by seasonal factors, resilient operational efficiency, and strong deal wins including large contracts from BSNL, MHP, and Metro.
Srivastava added that modest constant currency growth could face pressure from geopolitical uncertainties and softer demand during the middle of the quarter, though she said TCS remains well positioned as a long term wealth creator supported by its strong balance sheet and high employee utilization.
