TCS stock swings ahead of Q2FY27 results as investors weigh growth
Tata Consultancy Services is due to report its July to September quarter results on Thursday, 8 October, with an expected second interim dividend.
Tata Consultancy Services shares have been volatile ahead of the company's July to September quarter, with LiveMint Markets noting that the stock has suffered significant losses year to date, even as it has trended higher ahead of its next earnings release.
TCS is scheduled to announce its Q2FY27 results on Thursday, 8 October, and experts expect muted quarter on quarter constant currency revenue growth, with execution in BFSI and technology and services seen as potentially offset by softness in the consumer vertical.
Investors are expected to focus on the demand environment, the pace of revenue growth, and further clarity on the company's partnership with Porsche, while the company is also expected to announce a second interim dividend on the day of the results.
Ahead of the report, the stock rose almost 3% in the morning session on Thursday, reaching an intraday high of ₹2,142, after which LiveMint Markets also recaps prior-quarter trading around the Q2FY26 results.
