TCS to consider second interim dividend with Q2 results on Oct. 8
TCS has declared 96 dividends since Oct. 2004, with total dividends of ₹111 per share over the past 12 months and a stated dividend yield of about 5.3% at ₹2,104 per share.
Tata Consultancy Services will announce its Q2 FY27 financial results on Thursday, 8 October 2026, after market hours, and investors will also watch whether the company’s board considers a second interim dividend alongside the quarterly numbers, according to LiveMint Markets.
LiveMint Markets notes that TCS has declared 96 dividends since 28 October 2004, and that it has paid total dividends of ₹111 per share over the past 12 months. At a TCS share price of ₹2,104 as of 9:08 AM, the dividend yield is about 5.28%, based on Trendlyne data cited by the outlet.
The outlet adds that TCS paid an interim dividend of ₹12 in July 2026, a final dividend of ₹31 in May 2026, and in January 2026 declared a ₹46 special dividend along with an ₹11 interim dividend. It also highlights that the dividend focus comes as TCS shares have seen a sharp correction this year, raising questions about whether the payout can help support downside.
