Standard Chartered’s Dubai branch offers custody for Ripple’s RLUSD
The bank plans to connect RLUSD with LMAX so institutions can use it as trading collateral while the stablecoins remain in custody.
Standard Chartered will offer custody for Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin through its Dubai branch, according to Decrypt.
The bank plans to set up a link with LMAX that would allow institutions to post RLUSD as trading collateral without moving the coins.
Under the planned arrangement, clients can trade using RLUSD while the stablecoin stays in custody at the bank.
