Walleye Capital expands equities team with hires from Balyasny, Millennium

Walleye Capital has appointed two senior executives to its equity long-short business as the $17bn multi-strategy hedge fund continues to expand its investment platform following the departure of Matt Giannini to Citadel, Business Insider reports. Jordan Tanner, formerly chief equities strategist at Balyasny Asset Management, and Anna Dev, who joins from Millennium Management, are expected to start at Walleye in mid-2027, according to the report.
