Optiver hires former Rokos Capital partner as global quant head

Optiver has appointed former Rokos Capital Management partner Andrius Jankunas as global head of quantitative modelling and strategy, strengthening its senior trading leadership in London, according to a report by eFinancialCareers. Jankunas joined Rokos in 2018 and served as global head of quantitative modelling and strategy throughout his tenure at the macro hedge fund. He has spent the past two years out of the market during a non-compete period before joining the Amsterdam-headquartered electronic trading firm.
