Kalshi court loss leaves prediction markets constrained by state rules
CryptoSlate reports that Kalshi’s court loss suggests federal approval for prediction markets may not fully extend nationwide, leaving room for states to enforce their own sports-event rules.
The outlet says the ruling gives New York leeway to pursue sports-event enforcement while the CFTC is still developing national rules.
