NAHB remodeling index stays solid in Q2 2026 despite higher costs
The NAHB Remodeling Market Index fell to 61 in Q2 2026 from 62 in the prior quarter, while the industry remained optimistic.
HousingWire reports that the National Association of Home Builders data showed the NAHB Remodeling Market Index (RMI) at 61 in Q2 2026, down one point from Q1.
The outlet said remodeling contractor optimism held up even as material costs and economic uncertainty delayed some larger jobs.
