Only 5 metros now have typical luxury homes under $1 million
Redfin says the count of major metros meeting the under-$1 million luxury-home threshold has fallen to five from eight last year.
Redfin News reports that only five major metros now have a typical luxury home priced below $1 million, down from eight a year earlier.
Detroit is identified as the most affordable of the metros, with a median luxury-home price of $719,252, 47.7% lower than the typical luxury home nationwide at $1,374,470, while San Francisco is the most expensive.
