Homeowners more likely than renters to feel their home reflects them

The Redfin survey found 74% of homeowners say their home reflects who they are, compared with renters who view it more as a place to live.

Redfin News surveyed Americans for National Homeownership Month and found that most homeowners describe their home as a reflection of who they are. In the survey, 74% of homeowners said their home reflects who they are, while the same share said they would rather be home than anywhere else.

The survey also found that most renters view their rental as mainly a place to live. Redfin News reported that renters were less likely than homeowners to tie their home to their identity.
