Sony Bank subsidiary clears an OCC hurdle to issue a dollar stablecoin
The stablecoin would be issued once Connectia Trust clears the regulator's final conditions.
Decrypt reports that Sony Bank has cleared an Office of the Comptroller of the Currency hurdle for its planned dollar-pegged stablecoin. The lender said its US subsidiary, Connectia Trust, would issue the stablecoin once it clears the OCC's final conditions.
