China export growth accelerated in June, rising 27% year over year
June exports grew 27% year over year, the fastest pace since 2021, alongside a June trade surplus of $125.8 billion.
China’s export growth accelerated in June 2026, rising 27% year over year versus expectations of 18.2%, marking the fastest expansion since 2021, according to Forexlive.
The same trade data showed China’s imports increased 36% year over year, while the expected rate was 24% and the prior reading was 27.4%.
China also recorded a June trade surplus of $125.8 billion, above the $121 billion forecast, compared with a prior surplus of $105.43 billion.
