Guy Carpenter appoints two executives to expand health reinsurance in LatAm
The appointments, based in Miami, are meant to bolster Guy Carpenter’s health reinsurance capabilities across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Guy Carpenter, the global reinsurance broker and Marsh business, has appointed James Almaraz as Managing Director and Robert Genovese as Vice President.
Both roles are based in Miami, and the broker said the pair bring health reinsurance expertise intended to strengthen its capabilities across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The company said the addition is expected to complement its analytical and actuarial functions, supporting growth in the region and providing enhanced client solutions.
Guy Carpenter also noted that the appointments follow other recent hires, including Dennis Sugrue as Head of International Business Intelligence, tasked with developing industry risk insights and working with Broking, Analytics, and Advisory teams.
