Rokstone hires Claire Lill for North American casualty team
Claire Lill joins Rokstone after more than three decades in casualty markets, most recently as Portfolio Manager, US Casualty at QBE Europe.
Rokstone, the specialty re/insurance managing general agent (MGA), has added Claire Lill to its North American Casualty team, bringing her into the firm’s existing casualty leadership group.
Rokstone said the casualty platform it is building combines underwriting expertise, long-term capacity partnerships, and advanced technology, with a focus on supporting underwriters through data and disciplined decision-making as casualty risks become more complex.
Lill has more than three decades of experience across London and international casualty markets. She joins Rokstone from QBE, where she most recently served as Portfolio Manager, US Casualty at QBE Europe, previously holding roles at Apollo Syndicate 1969, Argo Group, Liberty International Underwriters, and Zurich Insurance.
In remarks about the hire, Larry Burrows, head of North American Casualty at Rokstone, said Lill’s reputation and technical expertise will strengthen the team’s ability to grow the portfolio and deliver solutions for broker partners.
