Arch Insurance International promotes Sophie Law to Cyber Underwriting Manager
The promotion is effective immediately, with Law based in London and overseeing underwriting across cyber, tech errors and omissions, and media errors and omissions portfolios.
Arch Insurance International, part of Arch Capital Group, has promoted Sophie Law to Cyber Underwriting Manager, effective immediately.
Law is based in London and reports to James Barrett, Head of Cyber & Healthcare, where she will oversee underwriting activities across the firm’s cyber portfolio, including cyber, tech errors and omissions (E&O), and media E&O across multiple territories and sectors.
The company said Law has nearly 13 years of underwriting experience, most recently as a Senior Cyber Underwriter, and joined Arch in 2019 after roles at Barbican and Hiscox.
In a statement on the promotion, Barrett said Law has built a reputation for underwriting excellence and is expected to help drive continued growth in the cyber portfolio and strengthen Arch’s market relevance.
