Crypto equities outperformed most asset classes in H1 2026, Bitwise says
Tokenized real-world assets reached a record $33.0 billion in Q2, even as crypto assets fell 36% for the half.
Bitwise says crypto equities outpaced every major asset class in the first half of 2026, except emerging markets, according to The Block. The firm reported that crypto equities gained 23% during the period while crypto assets declined 36%.
The Block also cited Bitwise data showing tokenized real-world assets hit a record $33.0 billion in Q2.
The figures highlight a divergence between broader crypto asset performance and equity exposure tied to the sector, with tokenized RWAs continuing to expand even as spot crypto declined over the first half.
