DTCC starts tokenized stock and Treasury production trades with major firms
The Block reports DTCC is launching production tokenized trading that includes tokenized positions spanning JPMorgan, BlackRock, Goldman, Microsoft, and Circle-linked shares.
The Block reports that the DTCC has begun production tokenized stock and Treasury trades, marking an initial rollout that involves large financial firms.
JPMorgan will tokenize part of its Invesco QQQ Trust holdings held at DTCC, while other tokenized assets are set to include Microsoft, Circle, and SPY shares.
The Block says the program is the first tokenized trading activity in production that connects issuers and market participants through DTCC’s infrastructure for tokenized market activity.
