Stock-market momentum unwind triggers risk-off rotation
MarketWatch says the selloff has not yet meaningfully pressured the S&P 500 because other sectors and stocks have offset the weakness.
MarketWatch reports that a widely watched stock-market momentum trade has run into trouble after posting what it described as the biggest unwind since 2001.
The outlet said that, so far, the broader selloff has not substantially dented the S&P 500, with strength showing up in other stocks and sectors as the leadership rotates.
