The Block reports that a pair in California has been charged with laundering cryptocurrency proceeds tied to darknet fentanyl sales.

According to the outlet, prosecutors allege the defendants shipped more than 500 drug parcels over a seven month period.

The Block adds that the charges also claim they laundered hundreds of thousands of dollars using cryptocurrency as part of the scheme.
