Ledger unveils hardware-backed Agent Stack to curb rogue AI transactions

Ledger says its hardware-backed Agent Stack lets users deploy bots that can read balances, suggest transactions, and prepare swaps.

Ledger has introduced the Ledger Agent Stack, a new hardware-backed toolset designed to help prevent unauthorized or rogue AI-driven crypto actions.

The Block reports that the system targets day-to-day bot workflows, including reading balances, suggesting transactions, preparing swaps, and drafting operations.

In its announcement, Ledger positions the Agent Stack as a way to keep bot activity tied to hardware-backed controls, rather than relying only on software-side permissions.
